One year ago today

I found a little video of me gardening taken on March 22, 2015. Shows how fat I'd gotten pretty well. So I made a little video celebrating how far I've come this past year.

Got my kicks on ole Route 66

Was in Saint Roberts, MO, and got to do a little running on Route 66 today.

Light spurs

Had a nice little run this morning. I enjoy running in the dark, but I want to be safe too.

I often see other runners out early when I'm driving with a single little red light on their waistband. The thing is, I don't recognize them as runners till I'm way too close. That little red light doesn't really tell me much.

But awhile back I saw a guy running who had lights on his shoes and I knew from half a mile away what I was looking at. It was awesome.

I knew I had to get some.

I found Nathan Light Spurs and they work great!

Almost down to 200!

I can't believe I'm almost down to 200 pounds!

Broke 30 minutes!

I finally broke 30 minutes for a 5k run.

But it wasn't a race, so I'm not counting it as reaching my goal just yet.

March race per month

Did my March 5k today. Didn't feel all that great. Couldn't break that 30 minutes.
